Founder of JP Ware Design
Jesse Ware has been building exceptional homes since 1988. With Jesse as your designer/builder, you'll have an experienced guide you can talk to and trust – someone who will really listen and help turn your ideas into reality.
Jesse first learned construction while making beautiful post and beam artisanal homes for Timberpeg, a family business founded by his dad in 1972. He went on to become a builder/dealer for the company as well as for Amos Winter Homes, where he became proficient in Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) construction. Next, Jesse started his own custom woodworking and furniture shop in York, Maine, where he designed, produced, and marketed his own line of antique reproduction furnishings. After merging this company, Jesse moved to custom cabinetry, owning and operating a successful business in Kittery, Maine, that produced high-end, interior mill work for commercial and residential clients. Jesse brought all of his skills together in 2005 when he started JP Ware Design LLC, where he uses the latest in three-dimensional modeling technologies to provide his clients with quality, custom, and energy efficient homes - from initial concept all the way through to completion.
Jesse grew up in southern Maine and has lived in York since 1992. He has all the resources and local connections necessary to deliver exceptional work on-time and well within budget. In 2008 he became affiliated with Artform Home Plans, which offer clients a wide range of pre-designed, affordable plans focusing on Green construction practices and sustainability efforts. Jesse earned his LEED AP accreditation in 2009 from the US Green Building Council, the main governing body that recognizes environmental leadership throughout the building industry.
